Anna is currently a PhD student studying the biophysical principles of quantum behaviour of fluorescent protein assemblies using femtosecond optical spectroscopy at Leverhulme Quantum Biology Doctoral Training Centre at the university of Surrey. Anna studied her BSc and Masters degree in Physics at Swansea University. 

She is interested in the combination of applying quantum physics with molecular biology techniques to inspire a new generation of bio-quantum technologies, such as low-cost quantum computers and efficient biosensors that exploit quantum behaviour.
