Kenza is a PhD student currently focused on investigating techniques that can create a 3D model of the epicardium. This model would be more representative than current models of large mammals and can thus lead to more reliable and accurate experimental results. The 3D epicardium would be investigated using advanced microscopy techniques.

Kenza obtained a Biomedical sciences degree at the University of Birmingham and focused on PALM/dSTORM in her final year project. She is interested in working in an interdisciplinary field where biology and physics can be used to discover and enhance our knowledge of biological systems.
